Dear Readers!
I’m very happy to announce the completion of yet another online course, this time about Docker (+Swarm) and Kubernetes. So why Docker? Simply put, after I learned Node-Red and started to use it, I was immediately faced with the challenge of setting up a working environment on multiple hosts, and I suspected there must be a better way to do all this than installing everything by hand on each host. After a bit of research I found that Docker is exactly the answer I sought. Obviously, Docker and related technologies, like Kubernetes, are a lot more than tools to help deploy your stuff as quickly as possible, but exploring this will probably be left for another post.
